| About Our Racing
College Program "RacingSmarter" |
Routinely in our profession, schools are
established by former riders who might have completed high school.
But to my knowledge none have a recognized four-year college
degree in teaching or have been certified and/or recognized
by any educational authority.
Common to all professions as doctors and lawyers, motocross
riders have the earning income potential of six and seven figures
yearly. However, very few reach that level of success. It is
extremely obvious that the missing ingredient is a well structured
and qualified professional educational program that will stay
with them and support them throughout their entire raci41 career.
This informative handbook introduces our; "One of a kind
and unique professional program". Make no mistake; our
program is not the usual and ordinary repetitive one-, two-,
three- or even four-day motocross camp taught at an elementary
college level by non-certified people presently found across
the world today. Our program has been well designed and structured
by several doctorate level professional educators and administrators
who also have extensive backgrounds in motorcycle and off road
raci41. We have set new academic standards of excellence in
the education of off-road motorcycle raci41. We not only produce
champions, but highly successful people!
Our professional college, like the university system, incorporates
the combined qualities of education that best benefits its students.
Classroom lectures before and following each practice; specific
related riding practice drills; and at home reading, writing
and riding skill assignments to be completed daily before the
next class.
Like all professional colleges and universities, we have been
very successful in collecting and condensing literally hundreds
of years of raci41 experience and knowledge into a two-year
program. Also, we utilize the latest in university higher educational
theory and learning methods. Because of these new accelerated
collegiate learning methods, our racingcollege leaves the conventional
schools far behind. This information, knowledge and program
are not available anywhere else in the world today. We specialize
in educating riders in the art and science of motocross raci41.
We have the only professional educational program of this kind
in the world today.
Our raci41 program is not intended for everyone, but rather
for those racers who:
1. Are looking for a well structured professional educational
program in their career field;
2. Feel like they have reached a plateau in their racing, no
longer progressing in their riding and/or
no longer getting the results they want or expect;
3. Have found that riding and raci41 are no longer fun, enjoyable
and/or exciting;
4. Are lost and without direction in their raci41 career;
5. Have a true burning desire to learn as much as they possibly
can about riding and raci41 motorcycles;
6. Want to improve their riding and/or raci41 skills levels
and/or raci41 results;
7. Want to be safer, smoother, faster and flow with the bike;
8. Are tired of finishing out of the "Winner's Circle";
9. Want to move into the "Winner's Circle";
10. And want to become "Highly Successful Champions"! |
| Safety Awareness,
Counter Measures, & Accident Prevention Program |
| We have created one of most aggressive, successful,
and highly effective rider safety awareness and accident prevention
programs in the world, today. To date it has shown an amazing
25:1 reduction in rider and racer accidents and injuries. |

| Educational
Block Learning System |
Each block of learning is constructed in
a Step-By-Step logical sequence which results in the mastering
of required skill levels in the shortest learning time possible.
They are structured, arranged and presented in a sequence maximizing
rider learning, understanding and retention. Each block builds
upon the rider's understanding and performance of the preceding
blocks' knowledge and his ability to demonstrate those required
riding skill levels.
Our race college program is composed of several instructional
sub-blocks in order to obtain and complete the knowledge, procedures
and riding skill proficiency necessary for graduation.
Taking the blocks out of sequence adds time and money to the
rider's rate of learning and costs more money. Also, it creates
weakness in your racing, making you susceptible to those who
would want to defeat you. We teach a quality education, not
quantity. We teach organized methodology, not organized chaos.
If you don't acquire and display this necessary raci41 education,
expect to be beaten by those who do! Sub Blocks
The instructional sub-blocks include daily classroom and riding
skill level growth and development and consist of:
1. Pre-classroom assigned textual reading and completed workbook
assignments;
2. Classroom lectures, discussions, questions and answers;
3. Notes, written material and diagrams covering each topic;
4. Simulated and actual practice rehearsal;
5. Review of daily progress by: oral, written and video;
6. Nightly homework assignments;
7. Daily and ending block oral and written examinations.
The material covered in each block has a required mental and
physical riding skill level digestive time of approximately
6 to 8 weeks. The purpose of this 6 to 8 week digestive time
and home self-practice is to develop, display and demonstrate
the necessary riding and/or raci41 skill level proficiencies
just acquired before going on to the next level of techniques
and methods.
Each educational block is divided into four major sections of
study, practice and raci41. They are: home study, classroom,
range & track practice and actual raci41. Each section specifically
covers the following:
I. Rider Home Study - includes:
1. The reading and studying of individual raci41 chapters;
2. Classroom note taking and their review;
3. Workbook completion;
4. Fax or internet communications with our college of daily,
weekly, or monthly assignments;
5. Seven-day Practice and Race Schedule Planner including:
A. All Self-Practice of drills, range and
track techniques, methods and
procedures. B. All scheduled raci41 events.
C. Weekly Rider Practice and Racing Performance
Evaluations, reviewed by
phone communication in our weekly "Rider-Instructor Coaching
Program".
II. Classroom Study - includes:
1. Testing over previous classes and lessons.
2. Review of previous class and practice material.
3. Review of armchair simulation method, bike stand or tie down
drills and range and track techniques.
4. Introduction of new material to be covered, the lesson plan
and its relationship to riding
and raci41.
5. Review of all material, drills and riding skills learned
that day.
6. Assignment of evening studies for the next day's classroom,
range/track presentations and monthly
homework assignments.
III. Range and Track Demonstrations, Observed Practice and Self-Practice
- includes:
1. Correct demonstration by the instructor of the required method,
technique, or drill to be learned
and practiced.
2. Accurate and correct demonstration of the method, technique,
or drill by the student.
3. Self-practice by the student.
4. Instructor critique of method, techniques or drills at the
end of the lesson.
5. Conclude and review of all the learned material before leaving
the practice area.
IV. Racing - includes;
1. The practicing and demonstration of all methods, techniques,
or procedures learned in actual
race conditions.
2. Learn not to sacrifice these newly learned methods, techniques,
or procedures in any race conditions
while competing for the win. |
| Self-Directed
Educational Program |
Our advanced educational raci41 program offers
a two-year and four-year college degree. Our curriculum
is centered around our students and their self-directed educational
quest. The term “Self-Directed” means that the student
learns faster while studying at his or her own rate. The driving
force found within these individuals from within advances them
forward at incredible speeds. In other words, they put
into the program is exactly what they get out of it. The choice
to learn at a "Slow Rate" or at a "Fast One"
is all up to the individual. But self-directed students
soon learn how to study and apply this information back into
their own quest. Self-directed learners apply the advance
concept of "Self-Competition." That is to say: he
or she learns to compete only against themselves. And with this
attitude they become more demanding on upon themselves and their
performance. Self-directed individuals learn and perform
at threshold speeds while others just watch. Education
authorities agree that a "Self-Directed" learning
program is an advanced method of learning and applying what
was learned. Our raci41 program utilizes this method of
productive learning. And because of this we can say that
we offer advanced quality education - at its best!
Our program has proven itself to be highly successful over and
over again. But there is an underlying “Conditional Clause”;
and that is "It only works - If you work it." In other
words, you only get out what you put in. Our educational program,
like motocross, is based upon the "Individual’s Performance."
Our encouraged self-directed "Individual Performance"
program have always separated the riders who could "Talk
the Talk" from those who actually "Walk the Walk."
We have found that our advanced teaching and training methods
do not waste your time or your money in a sport that is cost
demanding. For more information about our educational
raci41 program click on "About Our Professional Racing
College's Advance Educational System". |
| Expected Learning
Rates |
How fast you learn is dependent upon:
1. How well you listened.
2. How well you understood.
3. How well you actually demonstrated the required techniques,
procedures. and riding skills.
4. How well you retain your proficiency level. This
race college emphasizes safety, accuracy, and precision, not
speed. Our race college is not interested in seeing
how fast you can go. This so-called "Go Fast" attitude
often retards the individuals rate of learning and progress.
The speed comes following your ability to demonstrate the accuracy
and precision of the required techniques, procedures and skills.
Your success is based solely upon your own ability to understand
and display what is taught.
Also, you need to understand that any new learning does not
come overnight! The learning of well structured, condensed and
presented material must be fed at a proper rate and amount.
Next, a correct amount of time allowed for its digestion, growth
and development. Also, additional time allowance must be made
for the actual training and development as the rider applies
this knowledge to his riding skills. And, the more technical
the material, the longer the learning time. Mastering the raci41
knowledge and displaying the necessary proficiency in the riding
skill levels requires repeated study and practice (quality methodology
and purposeful practice) until there is no doubt that you know
and can perform it ten out of ten times. In most cases it requires
only a short time to digest this knowledge into your mind. But
this knowledge to become a permanent part of your body movement
it takes many months of quality practice rehearsal and follow-up
study, analysis and evaluations. It is for this reason that
we recommend that you not compete for at least two weeks following
any reaching college block. This will allow constructive and
proper learning, as well as, absorption time. Newly learned
knowledge, techniques, methods and procedures should be introduced
and worked on at the practice level (phase 1) first. When proficiency
is demonstrated at the practice levels, then it can be introduced
into the raci41 level (phase 2). So, don't expect immediate
improvements in your race results! But do expect immediate improvements
in your raci41 knowledge and skills. In other words, you were
ready to hear and implement the upgraded changes and methodologies.
Conversely, some areas will require a longer time to learn.
The complexity of learning raci41 material coupled with the
awkwardness that follows in your ability to apply the techniques,
methods and procedures require a longer time to master. This
seemingly slower rate of learning is considered the normal rate
of learning. It falls within what we professional educators
refer to as the usual and customary rate. |
| Class Sizes |
| Class sizes range from 1 to a maximum of
6 students per instructor. No more that 12 students per anyone
practice session or 24 per anyone class room. Small class
sizes allow for a more productive and personalized instruction.
Small class sizes also guarantee a high degree of quality education,
one-on-one guidance and purposeful practice. And, as you will
soon learn, the purposeful quality of our educational program
is unmatched anywhere. |
| Class Lesson
Duration |
| Each lesson can vary from 1 to 14 days per
lesson plan depending on the individual time budget of the rider.
The program is broken down into individual daily lesson plans,
so the student can pick up exactly where he or she left off
from the previous class day. |
| Attendance Options |
We have found, through experience, students
on the average will attend our classes (in Quinby, South Carolina,)

| Policy on Changes |
| We reserve the right to add or drop any part
of the programs or courses, to change fees, to change the calendar
which has been published and to institute new requirements when
such changes appear desirable. Every effort will be made to
minimize the inconvenience such changes might create for students
and/or their families. Suitable substitutions will be allowed
for required courses which have been withdrawn. |
| Non-Disclosure
Contract |
| All students, faculty, administrators, employees
and advisory committee are required to sign a non-disclosure
contract upon entering the race college program. This contact
is designed to keep all the race college's educational material
closed within the college system and its members. It prohibits
any member of the college from disclosing any college information
to anyone outside the college program at any time for any reason.
This action better protects and insures the success of all our
college members, employees and student body. |

| A Word From
Dr. Medsker |
When I first started out in motocross in
1985, I knew absolutely nothing about the sport. However, I
did know that I really loved the sport and wanted to learn about
its medical problems and how I could help the riders. Since
I knew absolutely nothing about racing, I started keeping accurate
notes, just like I did when I was in college. Before long, I
had accumulated a mass of raci41 notes. I started turning the
notes into books. The books continued to grow and from them
the raci41 college developed. And today, it seems like the more
I write, the more I expand and the more new information surfaces.
I have accumulated a mass of motocross raci41 knowledge way
beyond my wildest imagination. I did it by acting on my wishes,
hopes, ideas and by learning as much about motocross raci41
as I could.
Our raci41 college program is designed like the key and the
doorway, with our college providing a key through which those
individuals who work the program can truly unlock the doorway
to success. This trip is truly possible for those who:
1. know what they want;
2. will show us that they are willing to work hard and perform
to obtain it;
3. will follow the program's plan and policies;
4. will follow our counsel.
Only in this way can our program offer the rider a highly rewarding
and successful educational plan. We know that our program is
not the only "Road to Success," but we do recognize
that it definitely is one of them. And, like motocross, our
program is based on individual self-performance. That is to
say, the program works only if you are willing to work it. |
| Our Aim |
Our aim is to expose you to new ways of riding
and raci41 more "effectively" and "safely".
We teach several accident avoidance countermeasures, as well
as, visual scanning procedures. Our program emphasizes safety.
Your success depends on how well you ride and race and not get
hurt or injured. Following our program is that key. But we can
not and will not assume responsibility for your unwillingness
or ability to strictly follow the program. As many riders have
discovered, it's very easy to get "Off-course!" Riders
are like pilots - commanding their careers but get off-course
easily because they lack a competent navigator who knows the
way.
What's really amazing is that so many riders say they want it
but continue doing the same things expecting to see both improvements
and betters race results. They just are not "Race Smart"!
And that's a fact! Our mistake-free raci41 program offers that
race smart navigator that keeps you on-course!
Our mistake-free raci41 program is the result of going out and
studying hundreds of successful riders. We viewed and analyzed
all the success clues exhibited; their specific riding and raci41
skills, attitudes, public comments, workout schedules and training
habits. Simply stated, we looked at the top riders who were
getting the results, did exactly the same things and got the
same results. And, guess what? It really worked!
The initial problem was being able to work with the few top
riders. The secret was to be in the right spot at the right
time. And so, fate was good to me. I had the unique privilege
and honor to work with, coach and train David Bailey, Ricky
Johnson and Jeff Stanton. These are experiences I will never
forget! Besides becoming my good friends, they allowed me to
learn and record top raci41 secrets known only to those few
at the top.
As a professional educator, my first step was to put this mass
of collected notes in some kind of order. That is to say, place
them in their proper places and sequences. Next, figure out
and condense this mass of material into the fastest learning
methods and presentations. Then, structure it well and present
it in logical learning sequences. And finally, following the
learning process, the rider need only to apply, train and develop
it into his raci41 skills.
Our raci41 program is about more than becoming a top rider.
It teaches you the secrets of becoming successful in life, no
matter what career course or doorway you may choose.
It is our hope that by presenting responsible viewpoints on
raci41 and safety, we will expose riders, racers and their race
teams to proper and prudent motorcycle operation. Our race college
program is here to assist those students who really want to
help themselves, learn more about racing, ride safer and faster
and become successful. But we cannot guarantee that they will
read, study, or learn the material, or even put it to use.
If you do commit to working the program remember this very important
point; "What you get out of it is exactly what
you put into it." The real question here you must
ask yourself is: Do you have what it takes to "Walk
the Walk?"
We know that our raci41 program requires more time, effort and
financial backing of the rider. Quality education has always
been more expensive, but people recognize that quality education
costs more. The cost factor for the education in becoming a
doctor, lawyer, or highly successful motocross champion are
high. And, like medical college or law college, our professional
raci41 college is also expensive. At first, riders thought our
college program was like all of the others presently offered.
But, following the first class, they knew differently. The simple
fact is; "Quality education cost more" - but - "Quality
education earns more!" Simply stated, "You get what
you pay for!" We know our raci41 program cost more but
if the expense is a concern, we have created many financial
solutions and make them available to our riders.
If Distance is a concern let us say that we have tired "Road
Touring" - it just doesn't work! Road Touring never allows
quality control of learning and training. We expect a highly
consistent and productive learning and training environment
for every class. Road Touring could never provide these high
academic standards of education. History has shown us that all
professional colleges and universities have found the "Fixed
Location" as the solution for providing this high academic
standard of education. Fixed Locations also provide excellent
control over all learning variables and for this reason, a Fixed
Location was our single best choice. |
| Who To Talk
To |
In learning more about the benefits and success
of our program we strongly recommend that you talk only
to those riders, rider families and race team members who are
actively involved in it. Also, we strongly
recommend that you don't talk to those who are not involved
in or have never been involved with our program - as they will
mislead, misinform and confuse you.
Upon request we can direct you to those riders, rider families
and race team members who are "Actively Involved"
in our program for your contact. |
| Financial Assistance |
| At present the only financial assistance
available is within our college program. However, we are seeking
outside sponsors who are interested in making scholarship funds
available to qualified students. |
| About The Founder,
Educator and Teacher |
Dr. Medsker has been a professional educator
for over 33 years. He was licensed by the Federal Government
in 1964 as a commercial pilot certified in teaching single and
multi-engine aircraft and instrument flight procedures. Up through
1973 he flew many different types of flight operations including
military, agricultural, mountain, air search and rescue, war
zone, and instructional. In 1967 he completed military flight
engineer school at Travis Air Force Base in Savannah, GA. And
while in Military Air Command (MAC), crewed both a C-131 and
C-124 through 1973. During this time frame he also competed
collegiately on trampoline and toured the Southern states with
the Pan-American Olympic coach Fred Martinez and Olympic team
members. He also was a trampoline instructor at Armstrong State
College in Savannah, GA. during this time period. In 1973 he
became a black belt in an Okinawa style called Shorinji Kemp
and presently teaches accelerated natural healing methods in
the World Moosul Kwan Martial Arts Federation. He earned a BS
degree, majoring in chemistry and joined the undergraduate faculty
of Palmer college of Chiropractic following his graduation in
1976. Also in 1976 he became certified in clinical hypnosis
and presently uses it to allow racers to heal better and faster
and to allow riders to reach their goals more effectively. He
was appointed to the post graduate faculty in 1978 and joined
the national lecture circuit. He is the author of two Chiropractic
textbooks and has published many articles on trauma, athletic
injuries and procedures and methodology in successfully handling
and treating injuries by accelerated healing methods. In 1980
he was selected by Outstanding Young Men of America in recognition
for his outstanding professional achievements, superior leadership
and exceptional services to community. He joined the faculty
of Life College of Chiropractic in 1981. During his tenure as
a professional educator, he achieved the honorable title of
assistant professor.
His motocross career started in late 1985, working with Billy
Liles of Team Kawasaki. By early 1986, he was working exclusively
with Billy and David Bailey of Team Honda. He was, according
to David, David's private trainer, coach, psychologist, doctor
and good friend. It was during that time period he worked with
Gary Bailey in Gary’s motocross school. And it was Gary
Bailey who was the influencing force behind the development
of this college raci41 program. Thank you Gary.
In a private meeting in 1987, along with David Bailey, he was
asked to provide similar services for and work with Rick Johnson.
At that time he was working with another up-and-coming young
rider named Jeff Stanton. He worked with Jeff through the Supercross
season of 1990. According to many riders, including
the ones mentioned above, when titles were up for grabs or championships
being challenged or threatened, Dr. Medsker made the difference
in winning or coming in second. His mental training and development
program is unmatched anywhere. And his psychic awareness always
accurately guided us and predicted our outcomes.
He has a full time private practice, which specializes in motocross
problems and injuries in Quinby, South Carolina. Riders from
all over the United States and Europe come for around-the-clock
Wholistic Healing rehabilitation and treatments for their injuries,
his raci41 college program, and advice.
He is a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor, certified for
both beginning and advance street riding training. The MSF programs
are taught at recognized colleges in the university system all
over the world. He requires all his serious racers to complete
this program.
He has created one the most aggressive and highly effective
off-road motocross and Supercross safety awareness and accident
prevention presentations in the world today. Statistics collected
from this program presently show a 25:1 reduction in both racer
accidents and injuries. He feels this is safety program is a
must next step for all racers in the USA and abroad.
He has published a complete raci41 program on motocross and
Supercross and provides and teaches an excellent competitive
raci41 college on this subject matter.
Also he is presently preparing to place on his web site his
comprehensive rider correction and prevention self-help healing
guideline manual. This manual covers both common riding and
raci41 injuries. This addition will include his advanced accelerating
healing methods utilizing electro magnetic fields, discover
while working exclusively with motocrossers. |
